This week I was fortunate enough to meet a young lady called Megan Al- Ghailain who is running unsupported 1000 miles from John O’Groats to Lands End.
At only 22 years old this is a pretty amazing feet, and Megan is doing this to raise money for our Local School in a Bag charity. (If you don’t know about the great job SIAB do check HERE)
I caught up with Megan in Bruton on Tuesday, after she’s already run an average of a Marathon a day for 28 days, and ran about 8 miles with her, chatting about why she’s doing this amazing journey, family, relationships, running, Manchester and loads more. We then met with the School in a Bag team just outside Sparkford, and main man Luke donned the rucksack 🎒 costume and ran the next 10 miles with us to SIAB HQ at Home Farm, Chilthorne Domer.
The support out on the roads was great, with lots of toots, waves, and a few donations collected on route. Anyway, it’s an awesome thing she’s doing, and my ramblings won’t do it justice..
so check out Megans website HERE but more importantly, please help her achieve her £5000 target by heading to her sponsor page HERE.
Also search on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for @keepgoingMegan and give her your encouragement and support.
