401 Festival

Report by Rachel Webber

A weekend away meant two 10k runs, first one at the 401 Festival of Running in Portishead, on Saturday Evening . A fabulous run apart from starting on and finishing on a hill, but a fantastic charity event in aid of the the 401 Foundation.

Marc Webber – 57:35
Rachel Webber – 1:05.10

Sunday morning saw us at the Severn Bridge for the inaugural 10k starting in Wales running to England then back to Wales!

This was our first time running in our BHAM colours and was fab to get a “Come on BHAM” from spectators. The hot weather and tired legs meant we actually (for once) ran together and both crossed the line in 1:05:14.
